Nothing. The WH has contigency plans and Libby and Rove have excellent lawyers.

My prediction - No indictments.

Agreed.

Even if Rove is not indicted, the Dems will play this for all its worth.

Plan B is to get a 6 pack of beer while I watch the World Series.

Same as Plan A.

The thing is, this is just a high-level mud-slinging going on here, and it's essentially the same "game" being played in Texas with Tom DeLay. Now the Democrats know that all it takes to cripple the other side is to make mere accusations. No evidence is needed. Just drag it out long enough so that the mud sticks, and indeed dries on the clothing. Preferably until 2008, but as long as possible will do fine.

Do you think Rove, Libby and/or others in the White House were lying to the prosecutor?

... it concerns not the underlying violation of the various disclosure and espionage statutes, but rather, the dreaded cover-up.

What you're saying ... the investigation by the grand jury starts with one objective ... finding little to go on, casts around waiting for a witness with a faulty recollection to cross himself/herself up then lower the boom with an indictment.

Nobody cares about this kind of thing.

1500 FBI files illegally in the Hhite House and America yawned.

This Plame business is utterly insignificant EXCEP to long winded lefties.

Plan B: The capture of Bin Laden and it will be all over for liberals and their media whores throughout the remaining of President Bush second term.

and it could cost Bush his presidency despite his complete and total innocence.

Not if he tosses everyone involved overboard and replaces them with superior choices.

I'm very concerned the Libby lied.

If he truly lied (not just didn't recall things the way someone else did, or didn't recall some things at all), then he is an idiot, should be prosecuted and is someone we don't need in the White House.

From what you are saying and other things I have read, it seems to me Fitzgerald is capable of telling the difference between someone intentionally misleading the grand jury and someone merely neglecting to recall every single conversation they may have had with every single person over a fews months period of time, a couple of years ago.

Kind of makes sense... I mean it was inevitible, right? Since the 'rats have to depend on the courts to enact their agenda because they can't do it in the legislative arena, wasn't only a matter of time before they started abusing the legal system in other ways?
