The truth is that New Orleans will never be the same city it was, and the population will be much smaller. I doubt it can support an NFL team any longer. Arguably, it wasn't supporting it before Katrina.

Throw Nagin a biscuit. Let New Orleans keep the name and logo. It's indigenous anyway.

Move the team to either San Antonio or Los Angeles.

Don't throw Nagin anything, the Saints were halfway out of town before Katrina, it was already accepted doctrine in the NFL that Benson didn't want to have his team in the Superdome anymore and they weren't going to get a new stadium. And anyway Los Angeles or San Antonio Saints both have nice rings to them.
