There is C&W that is upbeat and fun, but it is too far and in beweeen. TV, Radio and even CD's have only one upbeat song maybe every 15 minutes (we'll have to do a study on that to verify, LOL). How can anyone be that sorry and forlorn to listen to it all the time? I'd shoot myself after a while. You are what you listen to.

Even when 'upbeat, positive and fun' it is still whinny as hell.

Now Keith Urban is one hot dude, and I have two of his CD's, but dang! I just can't listen to him for too long... Too sad... And if I were sad, it would just make me worse. I was in a fugue a couple months ago and what helped me out of it was listening to the GORILAZ!!! And Black Eyed Peas! (And of course listening to a Christian station, LOL!)

"Did you have your blue thingy/pj party?" Yeah, such as it was. We had fun...and lots of food.
I just got back from Little Rock. Had to take a couple of kids down there, one of them a little bitty baby....well, not so little now; he's almost 6 pounds. He started out at 2 lbs. 3 oz.

I like country because it's real...and stuff I can relate to. I think "Songs About Me" (can't remember who sings it) sums it up pretty well.
