What is unseen from that angle is a 'j' shaped breakwater in the lake.
We walked it this evening, after catching sunset on the shore. The lake is surrounded by mountains and that is the closest one. This is south of Salt Lake City by 40 miles.

Gots to head to bed.
This guy is soooo much fun. I do wonder how long he can live with himself, however.......
What happens when your roommate is driving you crazy and he's you?

There's funny stuff stashed away in all the books.
I'll let you get to foraging for the books.
So far, my machine is doing okay with the hard drive swap.

There's funny stuff stashed away in all the books. Really. The first book wasn't, IIRC, humorous....so, it gets funny? I wouldn't have thought that would have happened...the first book didn't give me that hint; now you've gotten me more intriqued...

The first book is serious, yes.
Humor is interspersed throughout the rest of the series.
And some stuff is unintentionally funny, like the were-wolf in Prince Caspian at the mound of Aslans Howe.
(I found what he said to be quite funny.. but that's me.)
Reepicheep is a well written character, and Lewsis description of him is good.

I've managed to finished reading other of Lewis' works, but never the Chronicles....now, if I can just remember which box they're in.....
To: nicmarlo; Lakeshark
Okers.
You'll find them eventually.
Probably go, "Hey, Sharks and Darks mentioned these.."
When you get to the part where one dwarf threatens to have himself and the rest of the dwarves sit on an unruly dwarfs head until he behaves...

I am feeling much better gran, I haven´t sneezed all day.
Now I can take my car for the annual inspection. I think I need some more air in the off side tire.
Things tend to get neglected when you're sick.
