I'm lost watching the St Louis/ Astros game. Can anyone tell me what "LCS" refers to? Listening to the game announcers is similar to learning a new language - without a English/Baseball dictionary.

It's not like arena (I'm told since I haven't even tried to watch or figure out). I'll try to find to link to the rules and post them. We've been here a little over a year and I still can't keep up with the action. I'm getting better though.

We had a Swedish Au Pair (no jokes please) and I took her and my kids to a ballgame. She wanted to know the rules and I thought, "No problem, this should take about 3 minutes.) Two hours later I was still explaining things such as the infield flyball rule. I discovered that its more complicated than I thought.

Please be advised that baseball came outcomes usually turn on 3 or 4 pitches and one out. You have to watch the whole game to see which ones they are...
