"As many of you are aware, I had been anxiously awaiting the addition of a new baby to my life. The baby has been born and both mother and child are in good health. Since the birth, however, we have discovered that biologically, the child is not mine.
As excited as I was about becoming a new father, my disappointment is equally as strong. So out of respect for all that are involved, please allow this situation to remain private and know that I will not be commenting further on this very personal matter. I'm thanking you in advance for your kind cooperation and understanding."

There was something in "Ulysses" pertinent to the subject. A canon, IIRC, was blessing the crowd with a cuckoo clock.

You know, I was thinking, How many men find it essential to have paternity testing done to establish if a newborn is his? Also, reading the source link, I couldn't ascertain if the baby's mother is his wife. None of that discounts your post, however.

I need more information than this country singer is giving to make a judgemnet and give advice. As for putting it on his fan site, what a putz.

I doubt that she is his wife. There is a certain uncouth type of man who would have sex before marriage.

Chris doesnt want us discussing this?

BTW, what was his first clue that the baby wasnt his?

This link was posted a while ago. She isn't his wife; she is his live-in girlfriend, if I recall correctly. I was struck by the fact that they "discovered" the child is not his child. Makes it sound like this lack of paternity just suddenly and spontaneously occurred, doesn't it? I'd say the mother probably had something to do with it, though!

"You know, I was thinking, How many men find it essential to have paternity testing done to establish if a newborn is his? " Did I miss the part where there was a paternity test? Could it be that the baby is not the same flavor as Chris?

This reminds me of a Benny Hill skit.
I plant rice, up comes rice.
I plant potatoes, up comes potatoes.
I plant baby, up comes Chinaman!

Well, good grief! I thought it was Dallas59 saying this.
Then I caught on and googled Chris Cagle. This is so stupid. Can you picture being that child and growing up knowing your arrival on Earth was little more than an internet joke?
To: Dallas59
Since this guy is a country singer, we can all put on our tinfoil Stetsons and speculate on a Rene-Kenny link.
