Well, the good news is...the furnace is out...

They're coming in the morning, but it's a bit chilly in her now.

Hate when that happens. especially if they have to order a part for it, assuming it's worth fixing.

Oh, I feel for you, hon. Our downstairs furnace went out in January a couple of years ago, and it took almost a week to get it fixed! Needless to say, we did a LOT of baking during those few days, and left lights on as much as possible;left the Christmas lights up until February! It was very cheerful that winter.

Thankfully, we have two furnaces, one in the basement for the main floor and basement, and one in the attic for the second floor and attic office. At least it was warm when we went upstairs.
