New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, |

Still round the corner there may wait |

Home is behind, the world ahead, |

Must have been cozy and romantic in those brown paper bags, lemme tell ya!
You and the Mrs should get a professional massage after it's all over. Lord knows you've earned it!
Will we be moving soon? :-(
Yep.... when the thread hits 9,995 :~D
Heh.
SPAM is out of the question then?
Our family's vice was/is science fiction. My sweet mother could open a library with the collection we accumulated during my yout. Dad was fond of westerns and mysteries so we have boxes of those, too.
I don't think we'll ever be able to get rid of them - too many good memories tied up in those pages - not even when we move Mom out to the east coast here in a couple of years.
So you're going to deny someone a quadruple precious? Bu-bu-bu-but it's *Christmas*!
;)
I'm waiting for ExGeeEye to roll out of bed this morning and send me the new thread logo. :~D
This morning I couldn't remember kitties' names, and ended up calling one of them Lucy. PE likes it because it rolls off the tongue better than Rosie, Ruthie, and Esther. Mom joked and said that now I have to name the other cat Ethel. ROFL!
Gotta run it by karateboy. He is supposed to be the one naming these kitties.
~sigh~
I should get a shower and brave the grocery store anyway.
You know what? I found one of the novels that I had autographed by the model from the cover during a book fair type thing I went to back in the day.
I laughed myself silly with that one.
The novel is "Winds of Destiny" and the (male) model wrote "If it's destiny, it'll happen".
How profound.
LOL!
Deep thinkers, those models...
Good morning! Off to church...which I suppose means I'll miss the opening of the new thread. *snif*
We took karateboy to see HP last night. I was a bit disappointed in the movie. He loved it, though.
The biggest problem was that I had to constantly explain what was going on. The director cut too much and therefore, the movie lacks continuity. With all the cuts, it was still 2 1/2 hours long so I can't complain too much I guess.
No worries, Rosie!
We'll talk ~really~ slow. :-D
The new thread's ready to go...
Haven't got the full size logo yet, but we can replace that later...
Everyone ready to move?
So soon?
Sure.... why not? :~D
Look for it momentarily :~D
