New verse:
|
Upon the hearth the fire is red, |
|
|
Still round the corner there may wait |
|
Home is behind, the world ahead, |

thanks...
heh...
Was this bow or rifle?
Say... did you see that thread about someplace trying to open up a season for hunting with Atl-atl? Had to smile at that.
Maybe someone will need a temp to fill in for someone taking a long Christmas vacation.
Oh well. Just remember that even when you get caught up in arguments elsewhere, we still care about your heating oil leaks and would be very miffed if you went off elsewhere.
nice screed...
I suppose I could deal with it if I knew I was going to START after the holidays. It's the just plain being out of work with no prospects that scares me.
Looking at the job boards, they're almost bare compared to even a month ago when I was last looking. It's disturbing.
Evening g'nad; season is off to a good start we see. Congrats. You planning on saving a tag to use with the handgun?
Thanks.
I was trying to figger out how to work that into my word count. But I'm still in the 1970s in the story, so their ain't no Internet.
Unless I move the story to Tennessee and call him "Al"...
rifle... didn't have a shooter come close enuff durin' bow season... a hunnert yard shot would be near impossible with a bow...
saw that about the atlatl...would be interesting...
Ya never can tell bout them eco-types; long days in woods and all. :-)
I'll be packin' the .44 along from now on... will use it if'n I get a close enuff target...
been using Scent-Lok alot this year... makes a big difference... that doe passed thirty yards downwind of me and I was on the ground... didn't even look my way...
The job at the college...I interviewed for that about a week before Christmas. Found out I got it between Christmas and New Year's.
That was kind of stressful. Better than the alternative, though.
I'll cross that bridge when I come to it, I guess. Time to confront the bossy princess.
It was in Pennsylvania, apparently it's legal now in Alabama along with spears. Not legal in MO yet, not sure about FL.
I'll try to remember to look too, next time we're there. We let it sit here for awhile, before we finally gave up on our old player, so I'm not positive it wasn't here and we've misplaced it.
How about VA, I wonder?
Heh, heard good things bout scent-lok from the bow guys. The doe, she was just pretending you didn't see her. :-)
Working on the ninja llamas....
