Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Fare you well! Fare you well!
New verse:
|
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
|
|
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
|
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Nope. I can't stay awake long enough to write it tonight, but Annoying Freddie is a goner.

Darn! And you got it honestly!

Well they had to come from somewhere. Ninja llamas aren't naturally occuring in this universe.

I'm not having a good evening... actually I am, just not with posts.

'Beyond' is as good a theory as any. Anyone that gets close to finding the true origins of the ninja llamas from the future is found mysteriously killed with the stabbingness and the choppinglyhood.

Hehehe...Bad Guy is trying his hand at burglary...a task definitely beneath him and which he totally cannot do. Maybe I need to have him summon his llama now to help hiim with these little details.
Uh oh...the toaster's hungry.

Does no one (except me) have a ~nice~ llama in their story?

I haven't had any llamas yet. I think mine are Chaotic Neutral llamas though.

I'm almost ready to add the aloe plant.
That only leaves the ninja(s). I have no clue as to how I'll get them in there.

Well I've got some nice llama wool that some old lady is making into socks...
To: Overtaxed
Have you already got pretty much everything in The List somewhere in your story then?

Need to get the aloes, the ninja, and Hair in there somehow. Since she said she didn't mind getting killed, I thought I would teach her the folly of shopping at pawnshops. :)
To: RMDupree
Just let them come when they want...
Rosie is dropping naked fish down the drain here. Hehehehe.

Sorry Corin... Hey, we've been here before. We'll be here again. We were down at party HQ until the AP called it, then we left. Also, looks like my local conservative delegate lost to a RINO-Independent by 44 votes. But I think we got the Lt. Governor and AG slots.
I'm too tired to think thru much of this tonight. That'll come in the days ahead. Speakin' of which, I'm likely to take a hiatus from FReepin'. I just don't have the stomach to stick around and argue with the armchair pundits. I'm thinkin' that I'll check in tomorrow morning and then sign off thru the weekend. We'll see.
If I can get thru tomorrow morning and the "friends" at work offering their condolences, life won't change that much. And when Tim Kaine raises my taxes, I can say "told ya so."
But I've got enough to focus on with the Christmas production and Nanowrimo.
That said...
Corin ~did~ get to hug the next U.S. First Lady.
And,
Corin wore a suit that he hadn't been able to fit into for about 4 years.
So, there's that.

Excuse me, OT.
Jen? Rosie? Nekkid fish?
I don't wanna know.
Now OT, what were you saying about killing Hair?
