New verse:
|
Upon the hearth the fire is red, |
|
|
Still round the corner there may wait |
|
Home is behind, the world ahead, |

Jerk their braids?
Ack... nooooo...
Ebenin' folkses... :-) [sip]
You're typing like I'm tgingking.
Evenin' Just put our wet horses to bed.
I haven't started writing for the day yet. *sigh* Kind of a not-fun day. And tomorrow we're working a sort of swing shift in order to work on machines that can't be touched during the day, so I dunno how much writing I get in then, either.
Yay.
You've got two thousand words more than me, none of this silly "waste of the day" nonsense.
Well....I've got an old lady in this story. I can have her moon over somebody....
3220.
Not much more than last night, but I've got the llama in there now. :-D
Heh. Llamas. :-)
Work was very dull. My report is all outlined and ready to plunk data in it I'm waiting for the data to finish crunching and then I'll be busy again. I did have to sit through an outrageously long and boring bored meeting that inspired the "gotta go pee" scene. There's always a silver lining.
Maybe my brain wouldn't be so addled if I had wasted a bit more of the day. :(
I don't have much if any opportunity to write at work. SO I'm outta luck there.
And tonight I'm pretty mentally worn out and depressed. After dinner I'm gonna attempt to write something, but...
I'm still wondering how a cheese sandwich will come into play.
*but* you have a job! And that's gotta count for something!
When did that get added to the list? I don't remember it.
Should be easy it enough to work a casual mention of it into my story, but...
Speaking of jobs... how'd that interview go?
Yay Ruthy!
My heroine was just blackmailed into getting into a car with a stranger. I'm trying to decide if she should listen to the offer or just stab him and run.
I s'pose. But considering it's only for a couple more weeks, it's hard to jump for joy about it.
I hate transition and change. So this is stressing me out, albeit it's much easier than not having a job at all.
