Still round the corner there may wait |

Home is behind, the world ahead, |

Eeeeek-yeah. I not only have more of a plot last time around, I'm actually serious this time... and that is suddenly stressing me out.
Stress? We don't need no steenkeen stress!
Nano nano.
Morning.
Think I'll stop at the likker store on the way home today...
hmmmmm...I could be a Southern author after all.
Incoming email: You need to send me those plans. I don't have your updated plans!!
My response: Attached please find email containing the updated plans sent in July.
Incoming email: I need those schedule updates. << testy verbage about not having the latest schedule >>
My response: Attached please find the email containing the updated schedule sent just last week.
*sigh* No one pays any attention to me.
Do we work for the same people? My morning...
Have you posted the public notice for that meeting? (yes, three times actually)
I need another copy of that list (the one I gave you earlier this week and the one that's available on the shared drive?) Yes, that one.
Make sure you invite the new Board member to the meeting. (Happy to, as soon as you tell me who that is)
Heh!
Hey, I just called Sam's Club and I have a ZERO balance!
ROFLOL!!
I emailed my folks asking what do I do now. My only options are transferring the money to their account (which would put me back to where I was before they made the payment) or paying them back in the Spring when we get our tax return, which is when we pay off all our bills anyway.
Both options have their pluses. If I transfer the money to their account, I'm rid of them. That's a BIG plus. If they let me pay them back in the Spring, I don't have to pay the payment each month nor the finance charges associated with the card. Which would be nice right here before Christmas and also would be nice after they caused me so much nervous anxiety over this!
I'm really curious to see how they respond to this...
I have had a fulfilling morning so far of helping a guy who just flew in get his stuff set up for his master's defense. Hehehe, they are so polite when they need things from us or their defense will be worthless...
Their Sam's Club account? can you do that?
How much are we talking about here?
Yes, I can call and tell them the payment went to the wrong account and to put it in their account. That's what I was told, anyways. They can't refund their money, which is apparently what my parents thought.
It's not a massive amount...but too large for us to comfortably pay in one whack. We could do it, but it would wipe us out and I don't think they should even expect us to do that since they were the ones that made the mistake and jumped to the conclusion that we weren't paying our bill...which we were!
It's true that they could have solved this with a phone call and they decided to just pay it and then rub it in instead, so I don't feel too bad for them, other than my usual discomfort when people don't get along well with their parents.
This is a rat, not a mouse, right?
My upset over this was not with my parents (other than being mildly disappointed *again* at their obvious low opinion of me).
My upset was that I thought someone was horribly wrong with my credit and my parents had to bail me out! It was humiliating!
After trying to figure it out and shaking and getting all sick over it...I'm really quite relieved that there isn't anything wrong with my credit.
You've got to stop doing that. :~\
I don't think that's a mouse...
That's no mouse, it's a spaceship...
I'm trying!! And I don't do it near so often anymore for some reason....
And now we'll never know the Ultimate Question. This sucker drowned in Bay's water bucket in the barn last night.
The little field mice we usually find in the barn are dinky things, about the size of my thumb.
It evidently caused quite a bit of upset from the general disarry in the pony's stall. She ripped her feeder off the wall.
LOL!!!!
You really are funny.
