Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Fare you well! Fare you well!
New verse:
|
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
|
|
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
|
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Well I'm one of Santa's helpers...
The problem is, I have to order it while I'm out of breath (I've just run from Santa's house). And I have to get it right every night because the waitress repeats it back to me.

I think the intent was to make it the most complicated order the could.

I know you're right...
The last couple of days have been very hard, my friend, and I can't seem to work hard enough to get my mind off it. I just wish I could get in a one of those hazmat suits and work...then I'd realize how really silly any heartaches of mine are.

Bah, I'm not certifiable. I've got the certificate framed on my wall already. :)
This exam is the fourth of fifth stages to my getting a license to practice in Texas. First, I had to graduate from SGU and enroll in the AVMA ECFVG program, then I had to prove I spoke English, thirdly I had to pass the NAVLE, fourth is the CPE, and finally I will get to take the TBVMEVLE.
They need more unpronouncable acronyms. Oh wait, they already have more. :P

Whoa, you could be a computer geek with all those acronyms!
Good luck on the CPE, then! Do they make all that so complicated so you won't try to move and get certified elsewhere?

Actually, most of it is because I chose to go overseas for vet school. US grads only have to take the NAVLE and their local state's board exam. After I pass the CPE, I'll be able to take state boards anywhere. (yay!) Then if I decide to move from TX, I'll only have to take the new state's exam, not everything over again.

I'm off to the Employee Recognition Event. I have to be there to ~not~ receive all my awards.
Please Lord, let this be the last one of these I have to attend!
