Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Fare you well! Fare you well!
New verse:
|
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
|
|
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
|
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Sounds promising! Lots of good emotional by-play in that, you should get it to 50k no problem.

It's the end of the world as we know it

It's the end of the world as we know it
And I feel fine!

You betcha! True love will out ... along with guns, I think.
The problem is, my sexy veterinarian is not the gun person. My Marine Lt. Colonel is the gun girl.
I think my veterinarian is a martial arts expert. Can a man who looks like LL Cool J be a veterinarian and a 1st level Dan black belt in Krav Maga?
Hmmm ...!
To: Lil'freeper
Yeah, hard to make it by these days!
It's going pretty well, though. I'm impressed with how much I got done today! ;-)
Of course, I ain't working for myself, but...

Okay, what have I don't that won't allow me to get to that site? It loads, says it's done and I get a blank screen. I can't seem to get around the firewall. I've reset my Internet Options...
What did I do?

You broke it, for all of us. You crashed the Internet, man...
Have you tried deleting your temporary internet files?

Is the whole screen white, or just the part where the whatever-it-is should be?

I'm gonna write a story about a killer toaster if it's the last thing I do!

It says it's loading. Then the bar down at the bottom says "done" but the entire screen is gray. Nothing happens.
I've had this problem with other sites as well.

There's a toaster in my plot. Dunno if it's actually a killer, but it's sinister, at least.

I'd say it was likely something in your internet settings, but you say you already set those back to default, right? And closed out of IE and came back in?
Could TRY going to Macromedia's site and reloading Flash, I suppose. though I dunno if that's really the culprit.

I'm thinking the aloe plants may be some sort of communications network. Or something. But I dunno.
I might try to work in a badger agin, too.
