Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Fare you well! Fare you well!
New verse:
|
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
|
|
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
|
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

The National Weather Service is pretty good, satelite image and color radar image with state underneath. Things looking 'interesting', to say the least.

This is the local radar.

I believe this one does update when you hit refresh, but I'm not sure how often. Maybe every 5 or 10 minutes??
I'm between Kendall and Miccosukee on the map and Sam Cree is between Kendall and Homestead, closer to the water.

If this is for that ancient AR180, that's mighty fine accuracy for something designed to be a cheap replacement for the AR15. That's what I'm workin' with... that 62 gr M855 Ball don't fly werthuhdern out'n it... stuff is tumbling at 50 yds... with a 9" group tuh boot... she likes the 50 gr stuff much better...

Was the testing with the Speer or the Sierra? both... the Speer HP was consistently more accurate (by 1/4") than the Sierra Varminter...
went bow huntin' tuhnite... passed up a 6 pointer... a mature doe never gave me a clear shot... gusty winds and cold... great afternoon swayin' in the tree stand...

I'm a little below the n in Kendall, and I think you are probably a little above the e. More or less, anyway.

Evening g'nad - nothing quite like developing the correct load for a rifle. Sounds like you hit on the right combo of bullet style and powder for your rifle. Surprised to see the milspec stuff doesn't do better than you described.

Ruthy called, she still has power, but she lost her DSL.
Hey Sam... call Ruthy in the morning and check in with her, let her know you're alright. She'll be calling up here to check in.

Heh...reminds me of the time the Pastor's cell phone went off during a funeral. It was the cable repair man.

'specially if you don't turn off the sound on the game. 'Course we're pentecostals. So if somebody throws their hands up and yells, we just say "Amen" and wait for the interpretation.
