yes, I love the mountains in NC. I have been to the biltmore about 4 times. LOVE staying at the Grove Park Inn(the old /historic part) Asheville is a great area, did you ever go to sliding rock? It is a natural LONG waterslide.. down rock.. cold, cold, cold! even on the warmest days
I wouldn't have liked the Biltmore as A child. too ADDhish..(still am) but now I can appreciate the history, pomp & people of the era.

Holy cow! Well, if you need any help, just ask me. I am still going through the stages of grief after 4 1/2 years! Just know that you don't go through them in order. I keep going backwards.
Maybe I would be more appreciative now, but I still would hate all the walking, standing, and listening. Too lazy.

I wish I had a glass of wine. Though I just went to the ER yesterday for an adverse reaction to a new medication. I still have an itchy rash, so I don't think the wine would help.

naw, you're not too lazy.. just not that interested. If it was someting that you were really drawn to, you would do fine.
I am as antsy as they get & many things would drive me crazy (like what I imagine you respond to the Biltmore or similar touristy place)
I took some tours of the Nascar's musuems, shops etc in mooresville/charlotte area & I was "hohumming thru it"
I just had to come play in the sandbox for a while. I hope you won't throw me out.

I'd like to see your work....I too am going through it, almost 4 years now since my hubby died and its not a tidy neat package thing, sometimes they all hit at once, sometimes you feel nothing and sometimes you go backwards. But I am realizing I will never be the same.
