Episode 4 of Season 4 of The Apprentice is on tonight. I'm a little late in starting a discussion thread, but I'm enjoying this set of contestants more than those from the Season 2 and 3, so here goes.
The bowtie dude from Season 2. He was the one who played tennis against Anna Kournikova and was saying "That ball was spinning like a democrat" and "that serve was more curved than Clinton".
Randy is a great guy---I knew him when he was in high school....and he deserves this honor. He doesn't have to share it with anyone!!!! He gave his team credit for helping and was a friend to Rebecca...but he didn't have to share his great accomplishment!!!!
Rebecca worked just as hard!
Besides, show me the word "aprenti" in the dictionary...
Randall's true colors came out when he hogged the light. Notice the show ended 5 minutes early?
Respectfully, I don't think that argument washes. Whether it is Rebecca or not, someone is going to get that job and require some of Donald's time. I doubt any extra time given to an apprentice vs. a seasoned pro would be significant. Donald admitted on the show that he has had very little contact with the previous winner who (I think) is refurbishing his Florida house. He admitted it.
Another benefit is fame. Had he shared the prize, that is exactly how it would have been written in the trades. They would have been both declared winner by the press.
I disagree. There would not have been any sharing of the title. Randal won, fair and square. Trump wasn't asking him to share the title, he was asking Randal whether to also bring Rebecca into the organization. Everyone would have known who the sole winner was because he was declared so first, and then was given the choice. He had all the power and, in my opinion, squandered it foolishly.
As far as his stock going up it would have been a cinch. Everyone would have said "Awww", what a nice guy. That's the image that gets commercial endorsements most often. That's the image of a winner. I think he threw away a huge opportunity.
I think your clock was off---mine ended at 11PM. And I will continue to back what I said about Randy. The team that loses the Super Bowl works hard, but there is only one winner.
I said, from the moment I heard Randy was a contestant on that show, that he would win.....he has entirely too much going for him not to. If you noticed, none of the other contestants had a bad thing to say about him.
He is not only a great guy, he is humble. Did you see him on Cavuto this evening? He explained further.
You've got the right take on this. These people have to stop looking at this with their hearts and use their heads!
Randy?
I thought it was Randel.
I agree totally with everything you said!
