The Sox are like the Mets: A team of REAL MEN overshadowed by a bunch of metrosexual pretty boys on the other side of town.

Paging Arnold Rothstein.

I have no doubt that the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim And All of the Rest of the Metropolitan Area Except for Pacoima will overcome this blatant attempt by a tainted franchise to once again steel a championship and prevail.

Oh, stop this silliness about Wrigley Field, Cubs' fans, cell phones, blah, blah, blah. You sound like a Democrat focusing on hating others rather than focusing on what you stand for.

At least the White Sox play in the city they are named after.

I was born and raised on the North Side of Chicago, and the Cubbies was the favorite team in our household...I grew up during the 50s, and there was nothing more fun that going to Wrigley Field, and cheering for our team, and watching Mr. Ernie Banks come up to the plate...

I suppose if we had been born and raised on the South Side, the White Sox may have been our favorite team...even tho they were our 2nd favorite team, we still cheered for them to win...

I had an uncle who lived just a few blocks from Wrigley Field...often, on a Sunday, mom and dad would take me and my brother over to my uncles house, park the car in front of his house, get my uncle and aunt, and cousins, ,and we would all walk to Wrigley Field...afterwards we would walk back to my uncles house and then we would have big old Sunday supper together...my memories of the Sunday afternoon Cubs game, followed by dinner with the family, is a very precious memory...

Now, me and the hubby live in the Pacific Northwest...and our poor Mariners finished out the season in the basement...the hubby is cheering on the White Sox...we still love our Chi-town teams, no matter where we might live...
