Contacted Tuesday afternoon, Smoot said the allegations are exaggerated. "It's slanderous," he said.
I wonder if there is a Mrs. Smoot?

15 Vikings players were on a charter as part of what he described as a "team event." Well we know this "team event" had one thing in common with what they have been doing on Sundays, it didn't involve actually playing football.

Yep, build them a stadium.
Spend millions of taxpayer dollars.
Then let the city give naming rights to some company that pitches in next to nothing. ( well, compared to what the taxpayers chipped in...)

I would like to hear from the boat owners and crew about what they expected to happen on this "cruise." They could be that naive but did they think that a football team party would be any different on a boat?

Isn't this what Vikings DO? Along with pillaging and looting, of course.

Take them out into the middle of the lake and set the boat on fire.

We had the behavior at the charity fundraiser a few years ago. Then there was Mike Tice's scalping his Superbowl Tickets. Now this. Zygi's finding out what his money bought him, trouble. The Vikings both as a team and an organization have been without adult leadership since Bud Grant left. But as Senile Sid Hartman says, we gotta build them a stadium. Yeah right. My question to his argument is: If building a stadium is such a money making deal, why aren't some of Sids close personal high roller friends getting with the program? After all it's gonna make a pile of money.

The pre-season prediction was that the Vikings would go 9-7 this year..... 9 arrests and 7 convictions.
