For those of you who will be flying SAS in Europe this month, you might notice the cover article in the Scandanavian Airlines in-flight magazine being about gay porn star Fredrik Eklund.
It shows the cover of the porn film's DVD and, for example, the following quote "A gorgeous Swede with a sexy accent and a big Swedish sausage in his long-legged jeans"

It is exactly as I described it. I have a copy of the magazine. The DVD cover shows him wearing only "tighty whitees" and the quote I use above is directly out of the article. Write me a private note if you want a copy of the article. Personally, I found SAS's praising his behavior, by making him the cover story, appalling.

When the Norwegians and Swedes came here, the Irish & Italians were here first and ruled the slums of the cities. Scandi's were not welcome. Signs placed in employers said "Blacks need not apply". By "blacks" they meant Scandi's as well. Persecution of Scandis was heavy duty for time.
As many of our forbears came over, they decided to take more "American" sounding names, and proceed directly to the plains, bypassing the cities as much as possible to start life farming on the prairies of MN, ND & SD.
Good info. Living in northern Michigan, I can testify to the numbers of Swedes, Norwegians, and Finns living in northern mid-America. Though some have argued that the Finns, at least settled where they are, because the enviornment so closely resembles thier homeland.
No Finn would run out of the suana and jump into a sanddune.

My, my. You signed up today on FR (for the first time?) and this is your first and only comment, complaining about "gay" bashing? And you also fault us for thinkiing inflight mags that can be and often are picked up by kids and teenagers shouldn't be promoting porn, "gay" porn at that?

Just in case you're flying this airline, or have in the past. Any airline inflight magazine - better look at it before you let your kids rifle through it. Might have a "gay" porn star in it.
