You're always going to give up alot of points when your offense is going three and out the entire game, which is what was happening up until to today. Getting Vinny was a great move because all he really has to do is move the ball, get first downs, and give the defense time to breathe like he did today. The Jets defense is easily good enough to win against anyone as long as they don't have to be on the field for 40 minutes a game, that's too much to ask of any team.
Good luck the rest of the season. They were fun to watch today. Now I'm settled in watching the 'Boys and the Iggles. I want them both to lose.
Giants will make the playoffs. Eli Manning is the real deal.
Yep...I think so, but we sure need some Dee. Eli always had the arm, now he's found his feet and is much quicker in reading the coverages. He'll only get better.
And the season started so well...
Holy @#^t! The Lions won!!!
They're now all alone atop the division.
What a weak division. LOL.
The Lions gave Baltimore a well-deserved @ss kicking, 35-17. Add the Browns' win and the Packers' destruction of the Saints, and this Sunday is much better than last.
The Jim Haslett/Aaron Brooks Express out of the NFL hit a new low today. As pathetic as the Aints were today, I doubt even San Antonio or LA would want them.
Nothing against the Saints, just surprised by the 52-3 score. I guess Favre motivated his team with the fear of being 0-5.
I figured the Pack was due, because Favre is too good to be 0-5, but I didn't expect the Saints to lay down and play road-kill like they did. That game was over before the ref tossed the coin.
It's almost criminal that the winner of it will get into the playoffs but that's the way it's set up.
It was a perfect day for me. Philadelphia loses (it's the only time I want Dallas to win, until such time Philly begins to suck again) and Washington loses... The G-men move up in the standings and don't even play... Now, if they can win in Dallas... That will be sweet.
Two thoughts. One, both coaches are going to be nuts pver these penalties. Second, there is no way Ward was down on that play.
