Take Jax and Den, and lay the points....
The G-Men don't play today, but it's a good idea to keep an eye on our divisional opponents.
I hope the Redskins lose to Denver (very likely).
I'm split on the Eagles/Cowboys game. On one hand, I want the Eagles to lose. On the other hand, I want the Cowboys to lose. Maybe a tie? :^)
Thank You, LOrd, for a bye for my Vikes!
I will be at the Jag game..I am afraid!
CHICAGO AT CLEVELAND!!!! WHOOOO HOOOOOO!!!!!
(well, someone has to win)
Vinny will make you eat your words.....I hope :)
If I'm wrong, It will be the Jets defense, not Vinny who does it.
My prediction!
The Jets D can certainly hold them as long as Vinny is able to move the ball and give them some rest so they don't have to be on the field for 40 minutes like they have every other game so far this year.
Miami seems determined to make me depressed.
Who was it here that told me that Mike Nugent was supposed to be this awesome kicker?
The guy sucks. He's already missed two very doable FGs today.
It wasn't me! The only Nugent I endorse is Sweaty Teddy.
Even more surprising than Vinnie's pretty good day has been the Jets' defense. Their pass rush looks like the real deal--several stunts were executed brilliantly (only watching because my Jints are on the bye).
J E T S jetsjetsjets!
congratulations. poop.
I wouldn't say it's surprising. The Jets D has been excellent all year. Even on opening day when they gave up 27 it was mostly because the offense couldn't move the ball at all and kept them on the field for most of the game.
Jets win!!! 14-12
Vinny 13 for 19, 163 yards. Not bad for a 42 year old called out of retirement and making his first start since last season. Wait a couple of games until he gets into better rhythm.
The Jets are by no means done like all of the "experts" have been telling us.
Well, mebbe a BIT of a surprise since they're last in the division in giving up points...
