We built an apartment in our basement for our middle daughter. When she moved out, the younger daughter got married. They lived in the apartment for 5 years and had a son during that time. We did not charge them any rent or anything. They saved enough to build a house. Right behind us!!! (family land)
I made it a point never to interfere in my kids' lives after they grew up and finished college. They are adults, so I treat them that way. I wish that they would do the same for me! How did they get so old, anyway? I am younger than they are.
As I was reading your post, it sounded like a disaster in the making. LOL! I'm glad everything is working out (due to your treating them like adults).
This job will pay somewhere between 20-25,000 per year, if I get it. It's a start. The most money I've ever made is 170 dollars per week!
Your nice to your kids. I'm an only-child. I'll be the "Little Baby" for the rest of my life to my grandparents, no matter what. And my Mom can't stay out of my business, although I have nothing to hide, really. She's obsessed with me finding a girl. She sets me up with horrible mismatches, then monitors and watches over everything I say to them. Then acts disappointed when it doesn't work out.
