hmm unpredictable weather... let me tell you a story lol.
Somewhere down around Nevada City there's a sign. I'm not sure of the exact date, but the gist of it was this. It was a story about a morning one morning when the temperature was approx +40 degrees above zero. This was at 0900 (temps and times are not accurate, but the fluctuation is if I remember right). By 0907 the temp was -27 below zero. It killed thousands of head of cattle, quick froze birds in the air and caused general mayhem throughout the state of Montana. If I remember the story right this is recorded as the fastest and largest drop in temperature recorded in the Continental United States. So when you hear someone say "If you don't like the weather, wait 5 minutes it will change." You know where the saying came from :)

You won't find locals here going out into Glacier Park too much, not out into the wilder areas, basically because you can't carry a firearm in the Park. Long time Montanans don't go into the wilds of the Mountains around here without being heavily armed. It's not a wise idea.
I'll be making a trip into the Bob next summer. I've done overflights of it, but never been into it on the ground.

I run up to Richmond once a month. It is only 2 1/2 hours away.
I would like to rent a cabin up in the UP or at least northern Wisconsin. One where I can take Harm. No one wants him to visit, so he and I will just have to take a vacation by ourselves.
