Katie Holmes Completely Cruise Controlled

Katie Holmes Continues Purge of Inner Circle

Katie Holmes fired her publicist of nearly eight years on Tuesday.

During her conversation with Leslie Sloane-Zelnick, Holmes did not mention that she was pregnant by fiancé Tom Cruise. The next day, the news broke.

In short order, since meeting Cruise in April, Holmes has now fired her manager, changed agents and discharged her publicist. All had been her longtime allies.

And let's not forget the broken engagement to actor Chris Klein back in March. That's a lot of activity for seven months.

Where does that leave our Katie? I'm told that Holmes has claimed Cruise's sister, Lee Ann De Vette, as her new publicist.

Pictures of Holmes from just a few days ago with Cruise on the set of "Mission: Impossible 3" are circulating on the Internet. There's no sign of a pregnancy, but there is a woman in the background of every picture.

She's been identified as Jessica Feshbach Rodriguez, Holmes' best friend since the spring and a high-level minder from the Church of Scientology. Her family has donated millions to Scientology.

As for Holmes' friends here in New York, the word is that not one of them has heard from the actress since she flew to L.A. to meet Cruise for the first time last April.

This relationship is now bordering on a sick obsessive thing.

Tom and Katie are going to do more to damage Scientology than decades of court cases filed against the group. Between Tom's mouth and Katie's zombification, Scientology looks more like a dangerous and crazy mind-control cult every day.

So what's the over/under on when Katie ends up divorced and penniless?

I'd bet she's getting rid of all her friends because Tom is inducting her into the cult of scientology...

I think that's one of the stages of cults...cutting off all previous relations.

I criticize the Mormons alot for their wacky and unsupportable beliefs. But they seem sane and reasonable when compared to Scientologits.

"Bordering"?! Dopey Katie Holmes has been completely brain-washed. The whole thing is tragic.

The theme from the Twilight Zone is now playing in the background... It sounds like Tom is a bit of a control freak!

Don't underestimate yourself; I'm guessing you're capable of holding both in contempt at the same time.

Her family has donated millions to Scientology.

L. Ron and P.T. Barnum must be having a laugh together about how this has played out.

I can hold many in contempt at the same time. No problem.

But I don't have contempt for mormons. I just find their beliefs to be unsupportable (and not just them, but many many other religious systems and beliefs).

Speaking of babies, I saw on the news last night that Scientology teaches (or should I say demands) that a woman is required to have natural childbirth (no drugs) and she is not allowed to scream in pain as to not disturb the baby.
Words of wisdom courtesy L Ron Hubbard.

If they marry I think the chance of a divorce has got to be a hundred percent. Will it even last as long as Cruise's last marriage? I doubt it.

As for her being penniless, I wouldn't think so. She's got a strong well-to-do family back in Ohio worried sick about her.
