GAP Brand sites (GAP, BR, Old Navy, Forthe & Towne) are now inaccessable to Mac/Safari users....

In a new (probably a coding screw-up) move, Gap Inc and their associate brand sites (Gap brands include Banana Republic, Old Navy, Gap, Gap Kids and their new brand: Forthe and Towne ) fail to allow Apple Safari users from loading. Users will only receive a continually reloading URL bar with blank pages.

Mac users wanting to have access should contact custserv@gap.com and alert them to the problem!

An apple a day keeps the brand names away.

They've been down for weeks in a supposed site upgrade, now this. I think they're actively trying to not sell merchandise.

seems amazing that they would fail to test the new sites with all platforms and browsers!

Big S-up by the designers and developers! I would fire someone over this...

Yep. Too, I thought it was really ridiculous not to have the new site prepped and ready and just do a quick switch. Instead they were down for weeks while redesigning. I know they lost business from my wife and there was an article about them losing more.

I was about to say that it loads up fine on Safari 1.03.

But after a second or two it flashes a "does not work on your browser, yada yada".

That message is up for about 2 tenths of a second and then it tries to load again.

It seems as though the only part of the website that doesn't work with Safari is the massage stating that it won't work with Safari.
