MEDWAY (MA) For parents of elementary school students here, a slogan for a nearby business stinks.
A Medway man's septic-system service boasts about his work with the words ``(Expletive) happens'' on trucks.
``It's not something I'd want my granddaughter to see,'' said Beverly Rechle, the grandmother of a McGovern Elementary School student.
But they do see it all day long as the trucks pull in and out across from the entrance to the school.
``I don't think it's a good thing for my son to read,'' said Debbie Lawton, mom to a first-grader. ``If he saw it, I'm sure he'd say, `How come I can't say that word, but the truck can?' ''
The school's principal, Wendy Rocha, said the foul language on the trucks had not been brought to her attention until now.
The owner of the business, Paul Trufant, said he's not cleaning up his potty talk, as one parent called it.
``This is America, not Iraq . . . it's freedom of speech,'' Trufant said ``There are so many pedophiles out there, why aren't (parents) more worried about pedophiles?''
You could say, criticism happens.
Oh jeeze now I can't get that image out of my mind.... stop it!
Sharon got married! Now she's Sharon Peters. ;)
Every freedom comes with a cost - normally in the form of consequences. Free speech [or behavior, or whatever] could be defined as one with no cost at all, or with negligible cost. Alternatively, everything is free for those who can [and want to] afford the consequences. Try to find a middle ground, which does not exist.
At least you got to hear it even if your mom wouldn't let you go.

NOPE, Try again.
There used to be an auto radiator repair place here that had the slogan "Best place in town to take a leak"
LOL!!
Mike Hunt
Phil McCrevis
Hugh G. Rection
Man, that guy had the best possible advertising idea I can imagine.
"A good place to take a leak".
It would be fun to be sitting at a light and reading the newspaper in that thing.
I pass by this one every day:
CULVER CITY MEAT
"You can't beat our meat"
We lay only the best.
Their installer's t-shirts are quite popular with the HS crowd.
One waste removal company I know of has a painted logo on the side of the trucks holding tank naming the vehicle the "Stool Bus".
I took last season off and worked in a friend's booth, but made myself a character anyway - a Scottish lass named Philomena McGregor McKenzie McCracken.
If she liked you, she'd let you call her Phil. ;)

Thanks for the submissions... They both got a laugh out of me, I am a very immature individual.
My alias is: Carry Meimdrunk
or Anita Beigcoch
Wasn't that the slogan of Pauly's meat business in Rocky?
