Roberts Jr., numerous media outlets have continued to baselessly suggest that Roberts's 2003 pledge to "fully and faithfully apply" Roe v. Wade as the "settled law of the land" signals that he would vote to uphold the ruling if confirmed to the Supreme Court. In fact, Roberts's description of Roe as "settled law" in the context of an appellate court nomination indicates nothing about either his personal views on abortion, or whether he would vote to uphold Roe if confirmed to the high court. As an appellate judge, Roberts must uphold the law and adhere to Supreme Court precedent or face the threat of reversal; his description of Roe as "settled law" merely amounted to a pledge to do his job. Now, what's my point? She is a talented and experienced lawyer, who was representing her client's(employer's)(GWB's) position in her position as counsel. Saying she faithfully applied GWB's principles to her committee's assigned tasks makes no greater statement then the fact she has the full faith and backing of GWB in her Justice seat.

I am not an evangelical Christian, though her mission sponsoring(have a source at hand by chance?) is impressive, though without details it still lends itself to be able to be interpreted in many different ways. "Have faith in my faith in her Faith" - GW Bush/Southhack

Nothing personal Southhack, but I've known Mormon missionaries who are incredibly liberal when it comes to helping the poor dark skinned people and such. "Be known by your Good Works" is interpreted in many different ways by many people.

Illegal immigrants are once again increasing year over year, and have surpassed in number the amount of legal immigrants entering the country.

I live on the edge of an area where 1 in 8 residents are foreign born, and the percentage of residents who are foreign born is drastically increasing every year, with no end in sight.

Now, a woman who funds Evangelical missions overseas and tithes her income might see it upon herself to rule in such a way that all Americans end up titheing(tithing?) their income to support illegal immigrants in this country.

Hypothetical of course Southhack, I'm just pointing out that religiosity in and of it self is not a way to divine(no pun really) a person's judicial philosophy.

Of course, most of the pet choices floating around (Janice Rogers Brown, Estrada, et al) were Bush nominees to begin with.
