The fact that she is not a federal judge and has not been involved in a "controversial decisons" is a big help.
She does not have a track record to be judge on or written opinions either... this will force the judiciary committee to judge her on her merits not her past decisions on a bench.. If i am not mistaken both the others are sitting federal judges.
I have no beef with you, but with the fact that you deride people that agree with bush, but not with the pundits, and the fact that you call people sheeple for agreeing with bush, but yet you have hung all your opinions on the pundits comments... i see that as hypocrisy.
Just my opinion...

Everybody should be concerned by this pick or any pick. She doesnt have to be more qualified than Brown or Jones or Luttig, she just has to be qualified and share the same values as them, if you are setting up a standard of who is more qualified then who you will never find a pick because your requirements could remain ever changing. And its funny you picked Jones and Brown as standard bearers, you do know she is the one who vetted them for there seats in the courts dont you. If she wasnt conservative, do you think she would have picked those two solid conservatives?

Instead we have a pick that Ried and Schumer both LIKE!!! Wait, Move-On, NARAL, People for the American Way, George Soros and the other puppet masters haven't come out with their objections and talking points yet but they are lurking here and learning.
To: hjvan
Let's see. Rush didn't like the pick. Hannity didn't like the pick. Scarborough didn't like the pick. Krystal didn't like the pick. I guess you all know better that some of most brilliant conservative minds in America. Whatever. I'm sorry to say this...but some of you seem to be the rebuplican versions of Sheeple.
Of the three, only one has an opinion worth listening to. Rush and he said she is a Christain. That means something.

Yes. We know they are both liars and decievers, so if they say they like her, that means they have ulterior motives. I don't know what they are and don't care.

thanks! the tag was generated because of this post:

Where I was told that I had not convictions because I was an independent.
As for the new pick... I was surprised as most, but refreshed by the fact that she was not a sitting fed judge. and have read some on her past and her merits so far... I am sure that there will be other facts that come up as it comes along, but in this instance I think Bush did this to throw the judiciary committee off and put the hard left dems in a pickle on this pick.... as for her conservative stripes that remains to be seen, but her being a Bush insider for the past 12 years i don't think there is much to worry about.
As for my service.. You are welcome, but I considered it an honor and privilege to serve, so I thank all that appreciate the sacrifice that our fighting men and women have made and are making..it is an honor to have served for citizens like yourself.. so thank you for supporting the military.

Luttig, Jones, Rogers Brown, Estrada, Owen. Has it occurred to you that these candidates would never have been confirmed? Have you been listening to the demonRATS or the Presidents own party for that matter? Do you recall the rinoRAT 14???
Those 14 are the problem, not the President, IMHO.

Jay Sekulow from ACLJ has met with her several times and is happy with the pick. He stated that she's the one that helped Bush with his other fabulous nomiations.
Hold your fire; she's probably OK

One last comment and I'll leave. Can we rename this site to FreeDemocracy.com ? I think it would more accurately reflect many of your beliefs and stances. Peace. I'm out. If it looks like a Democrat, sounds like a Democrat, and acts like a Democrat what do you call it? Bye Bye. Oh and yeah... Peace out.

All the "experts" in the country can give their opinions on her but until she is actually sitting on the bench nobody will know for sure how she will act in the clutch.
To: donvonbra
Do we really want to wait until she's on the SC before knowing how she will vote? Didn't we already do this before with a guy named Sueter?
