It will be nice to see the bottom of the order get hot. If that happens Boston will be in good shape.
Hopefully they won't need him.
I guess I'll believe they're a different Braves club when I see it.
I don't have a problem with most of the ESPN announcers, but I can't stand Joe Castiglione's voice. He should not be involved with radio or any other form of broadcast media for that matter.
Being able to string some big innings together with walks, doubles and a HR really helps. We need for Trot, Tek and someone else to pop a homer or two in the playoffs.

I've long been annoyed with his getting my hopes up for a home run everytime a Sox player hits a fly ball.

I don't remember any of the "famous calls" and couldn't figure what a pumpkin could be, but I spent a few hundred nights as a kid listening to Johnny & Glen Ordway, then Glen and Jerry Sichting.
Most Celtic games weren't on TV when I was a kid so the radio was the only way I could follow them.

No role whatsoever, but little to do with the reason for my original post. The point made was that I wasn't going to root for a team whose owner, in his own words, "fell in love" with the Williams family story after hearing about their associations with Black Panther founder Huey Newton and John Carlos/Tommie Smith. White Sox owner Reinsdorf was also a big contributor to and defender of disgraced Illinois congressman Mel Reynolds (the guy who slept with the 15-year old girl) so he can really pick them. But hey, if those guys are your cup of tea, feel free to jump right on the bandwagon, put on your glove and have at it. As for me, I'll be rooting against the White Sox......and their buddies from Berkeley.
They ran into the best pitching in the AL. Same problem Boston is about to get a load of.
I hope not, too. He's been getting fat and lazy since 2002.
I think the Sox bats are a tad better than the Tribe's.
It was heartbreaking when ESPN let him go.
I just find it amazing that the Red Sox managed to win a single regular season game against the great Chicago White Sox, never mind take four out of seven!
