Now I'm back again, browsing from FireFox.

I like it, but I miss the "Click" noise when you clicked on a new page. Any way to bring that back?

Don't think so but there is a ton of stuff you can add onto Firefox, so who knows.

https://addons.mozilla.org/?application=firefox

I use Optimoz, Adblock, IE View and a few others.

Stay away from all porn sites now that your system is cleaned. And edit your FR homepages by deleting the crap that's on there.

Also not that Mozilla which comes from the same place as firefox is more complicated, but has more options if you ever want to try it. I don't think you can make that click either though. There are a few things firefox will do that Mozilla won't. You just have to find what you like.

Thanks again, y'all. I'm having fun on the net again!

While we're on a computer-related theme, I've also been having trouble with my scanner lately. I had to put my FReeptooning career on hold till I could figure out what was wrong. Anyone think they could help?

I have had the Popup Manager for years. It is free, does it's job and has been trouble free. Combine that with Spybot and you should gain some control again.

What do I have to do to tell my computer I don't want it to try to auto-start CDs, DVDs, or other removable media under any circumstances (WinXP)?

Thanks Ern. My granddaughter cleaned up her mothers pc and she is back on eBay competing with me... LOL

I need to get to her switch to FireFox.

She can't believe how simple my life is using a Mac. Of course my Epson C80 had a heart attack last night and appears to have assumed room temperature.. ;(
