It wasn't the kids that caused the Gaghans to come in last this week. Mom Gaghan not being able to find the red bean What is the time length of the yield? The Gaghans were there before the Weavers even got yielded, and still the Weavers beat them out.

Don't know for sure. It's the length of time for the sand to run out of an "hour" glass, so maybe about an hour?
That road block involved quite a bit of luck, as well as a sharp eye. The Weavers found their red bean right away, while the Gaghan mom had almost all of their beans spread out in a single layer before she found theirs. A combination of good luck for the Weavers and bad luck for the Gaghans, IMO.
But, it definitely wasn't the kids that cost them the race on this leg. Their kids were real troopers, and this family seems to have a good outlook. In all, it was a great experience for them as a family, and even though they didn't win, they'll take away some pretty cool memories and experiences.
