Yaaaaay! ^_^
Not meaning to sound insensitive but, this occurred during a race! The racers are supposed to drive fast! That's how you win a race!
Come on folks! What's next?
Suing the winner of the Miss USA pageant because she is "too pretty"!
or how about suing the winners of the Super Bowl because they played better than the other team.
This country has gone lawsuit crazy.
Thanks for taking over the job of hosting the TAR thread.
I have the DVR set and ready to go.
Thanks for the ping!
Yep it has gone lawsuit crazy. I still hope the kids didn't see their father die that way though.
By the way I am glad your Irish lass didn't get the boot last week. :)
I am too, but I have to say, the two gay guys last time were the greatest comic relief. They seemed to be the pair having the most fun. The gay son was a pain in the butt, no pun intended.
We know the kids won't be doing any caviar eating or vodka shots, I guess!
I did, too. Just like Mayor White in Houston. Have you seen him? One ounce more melanin than an albino!
"Not meaning to sound insensitive but, this occurred during a race! The racers are supposed to drive fast! That's how you win a race!"
I tried to think of a decent, controlled response to the above statements, but I just couldn't.
What an insensitive ASS you are! Shame on you!!
Excuse me? Just where do you get off, calling me an insensitive ASS for pointing out that this woman is unjustified in suing a race car driver for "driving too fast" during a race!
You want to explain this? Just what exactly was the driver supposed to do? Slow down to a crawl and let all the other drivers pass him, just because you think he should have. Talk about the height of arrogance!
Oh, shoot... I'm having a slow mental day...
Never mind the post, I thought we were talking about this race and not a Daytona race, bah. My brain has been fried lately. This is the third time today I've interpreted something incorrectly. >_<
That would be Tricia, the youngest Godlewski sister (far right :-P)
She's also the one that says "Hey, look at that big bridge!" in the promos.
I've been thinking about that and I'm starting to suspect one of the siblings more than the others. I won't say who I think it is, but there's very little description of this person in the bio ... CBS might be hiding something.
I read that too, but I don't think it will be that bad. Every location TAR has gone in the past has had some educational value (one of the reasons I like the show). And there are only 4 young kids in the race compared to nearly 30 adults so I think (and hope) that TAR is able to find a nice balance with the challenges.
Season 6 has to be the worst, they had the rudest, whiniest, most unlikable people as contestants, all the good teams got eliminated early.
Also I noticed that the most likable teams always end up fourth(the clowns, bowling moms etc.etc.).
I'll probably watch tomight's season 8 premiere, but I don't know how the family format is going to work.
You're welcome :) I'm happy to do it.
My early handicapping sees a family towing 8-9-10-11 year olds at a distinct disadvantage to the families with all grown children.
That's what I'm thinking, too. But CBS has featured both of the families with young kids (the Gaghans and the Blacks) fairly well in their promos--that makes me think that they might stick around a while, but I could be wrong. I'm no good at predicting these things :)
Great kick-off to the TAR8 thread...
Hi :) Did you want to be added to this ping list?
We hope the LBOJ is in bed by the time TAR8 is on... 8^)
