Thanks jonny

I thought the Lintz deserved the win -- but I think this will be the last Family TAR.

Looks like they're going back to two person teams.

Thank goodness!

Didn't the previews last night look really good? :)

They looked VERY good :) Did Phil say that the next teams will travel 60,000 miles? This might be the biggest race ever!

I don't doubt that. This race was a dud.

I am not laughing

Yes you are--I can hear you all the way down here :)

I suspect that the Weavers won some amount of money for being third, but I don't know how much. If it's like Survivor, they might have won as much as $75,000.

LOL!

Even lamer: "Spend the night in a trailer park."

Have you decided if you will host TAR in Feb?

Yeah, I'll be the host :) The next thread won't be "live" though. I don't think I could manage that with AI running on the same night.

I was pulling for the Linz's to win. I had read the rumor that they had won but you never know.

I just watched the Linz's pick up their check the Early Show on CBS - (I think my first time ever watched the Early Show). The Linzes commented that half of the prize goes to their parents. The other half will be split between all siblings - 7 all together. After tax I figure the parents get $350,000 and each sibling gets about $50,000. Not bad.

Thanks for your hard work this season.

I liked the four family member format but they never should have allowed children under 15 or 16, and run it just like the others.

The mom needs to pray for some longer shorts for her two girls. The whole daisy duke bicycle short thing just isn't happening.

I'm guessing their church doesn't teach on modesty?

The funniest thing I heard from them was when they were in the tower searching for the flag. The weaver girls says, "It's a luck thing", then in the next breath asks God for help finding the flag.

Well, which is it? "Luck" or God? :-)

Pop-bubblegum Christianity where God is some sort of divine ATM. it's laughable.

I'm watching the Early Show, too. The Weavers, the Bransens and the Linzes all being interviewed by Harry Smith.

Even now the Weavers are isolated.

ROFL

Normally, I don't complain about a girl wearing short shorts, but even I have to admit that these are too short. And about 2 sizes too small.

Instead of pinging the list just before showtime, I'll probably just ping it the morning of the show, the way Cuz pings the Survivor thread. That'll save me a headache :)

The weaver girls says, "It's a luck thing", then in the next breath asks God for help finding the flag.

This is the type of hypocritical "Christianity" the Left loves to use to pillory all Christians.

"Oh God, please gimme gimme gimme" like God is some sort of Santa Clause.

Pop-bubblegum Christianity where God is some sort of divine ATM. it's laughable.

It is also pitiful. Look at how the Weavers treated the other families. Not very Christian, much less Christ-like. The way they used their so-called "Christianity" on this show was emberrasing.

Seemed to me that the Weaver's are trying to do a little damage control this morning. Their bad behavior on the show must have hurt them since the show ended because they are trying to explain it all away.

At leaset they did not blame editing.
