You might as well shut the game off at that point.

Unless they're playing in Miami.

His career could be over.

But what a great career. That man could tackle.

The Pats we're really upset by giving that game away last year. They took it out on the Jets the following week.

Yea, Dungy is very conservative and not in a good sense.

Receivers tended to stay away from him as much as possible.

He was on the same staff with Schottenheimer, Cowher, and Edwards at one point. They all seem to manage the game in a similar fashion.

That loss in Miami was the best thing that could have happened to them, just as the Carolina loss the previous week was. Still, I don't think the football gods are being very kind to the Pats for a three-peat. But they certainly won't go down without a fight. But if somehow they do get number 3, it will go down as one of the most amazing coaching jobs ever.

I bet Peyton not playing that regular season game last year against denver is really starting to make him mad.... him being pulled early in games during the season when they were destroying teams, plus not playing in that denver game made it where he was not league leader in passing yards last year AND Marino beat Manning to 30,000 yards by 1 game! bet thats really starting to chap his hide. :D

It certainly will. The three-peat is tough but I don't think it's impossible. The 49ers barely lost the NFC title game to the Giants (Belichick was their defensive coordinator) in 1990 and I think they would have beaten Buffalo in the SB that year. The Cowboys we're one win away (the 1994 NFC title game vs. SF) from winning 4 straight SB's.

You're right though that it's very difficult.

He'd been really upset if he got hurt in that game and had to miss the playoffs.

Hopefully it won't come to that again but you never know.

yea, what are the chances of that? He has started every game of his career and was only sacked 13 times last year.

I don't know why folks consider him a bust. It's kind of hard to prove yourself as a quarterback when you're constantly running for your life.

Would you put the best kicker in the NFL at such a cursed position?

Was that Miami game close? With 4 INTs, I'd guess not.
