All I know is Da Boys share first place with the Giants who got the well-deserved buttkicking they received tonight.

Chargers and Cowboys = they're the only teams I follow or care about. High Five! lol

I see a lot wrong with Eli (and Archie) getting their way with respect to Eli not playing in San Diego. It destroys the integrity of the NFL draft to have prima donnas picking and choosing who they want to play for. The Chargers rated the first pick of that draft and they should have had the right to choose the player they wanted out of the pool of players that was available.

It felt good to see Eli and his Giants get absolutely crushed by the Chargers tonight.

LaDainian Tomlinson accounted for a total of 246 yards and four touchdowns, and San Diego proved to be an unruly host in Eli Manning's first game against the team he spurned on draft day... continued

The absolute justice is that Manning got the tar beat out of him by the team he thumbed his nose at on Draft Day. LMAO!!

I think it was Archie for the most part, but I am glad we didn;t get him. I wish they'd play Phillip Rivers and build the team around him.

Watching the summary of today's games -- Bledsoe passed Montana -- now Bledsoe is 8th on the passing yardage list. Woo-Hoo.

What happened with Giants' Jacobs? Did he leave the game from an injury?

Bledsoe was certainly in top form today! I'm glad Dallas acquired him. They've been in rebuilding mode ever since Tom Landry retired. I just wish that Jerry Jones would just go to hell. Jones ruined a perfectly good career for Landry by sacking Landry once he become owner.

One of my daughter's seriously wealthy clients is a neighbor of Jones. Like most owners, he's on an ego trip and likes to meddle in HIS team. You'd think they'd hire the best and then listen to them. I loved Landry. GOOD man.

THANKS!

"In addition, Tomlinson has now scored a rushing touchdown for the 15th straight regular-season game, which extended his own NFL record."

and

"Drew Brees went 19-of-22 for 191 yards with two touchdowns..."

They won't be playing Phillip Rivers any time soon. :(

Well-deserved? Mind enlightening as to your reasons why?

I've been a diehard Cowboys fan for the last 28 years, so you can imagine the frustration I've had for most of that time with Jones orchestrating the incompetant decisions from "up on high". If I lived in Dallas, I'd go up to his office and give him a few words of advice, like "take a hike". LOL

There are a plethora of reasons why, first of all, they came into this game undefeated with a QB who has a swelled ego.

And to be perfectly honest, the eastern media elite hypes the Giants as some great franchise, but when you look at their schedule, it's no wonder they make it into the playoffs by playing the weakest of the teams. SDGO just happend to be an exception.

QB who has a swelled ego.

I saw no such thing out there on the field.

And to be honest, the eastern media doesn't really give the Giants the lip service you think they do. Whenever the Giants play great football, a majority of the time they attribute it to the 'poor' play of the opposing team. If anything, the eastern media greatly underestimates the G-Men.

Anyone who thumbs their nose and publically states they will not play in San Diego if picked on Draft Day has a serious ego problem.

They're overhyped and overrated. The NY media, particularly WNBC fawns over the "G-Men" even if they get shellacked by a team in search of their first win of the season. Some would call it "local media bias", I think the Giants are overhyped. I've seen the same behavior with the Denver media.

I meant that I'm glad Pittsburgh lost a game like Dallas lost to them last year at Texas Stadium. I'm glad someone got them back for Dallas. I wasn't talking about the Pats/Steelers game. Sort of passing along a favor.

Yeah, I actually understood that. I was saying that the time to feel giggly over a team beating the Steelers since the Steelers beat Dallas was the 1-sided pounding we gave the Steelers in the AFC Title Game-- that was the time to enjoy some revenge vicariously. That yesterday should have only been icing on the cake, not the cake itself.

Great game, we gave you way too many chances and you took advantage of them, despite having about half your team injured.

Now all that stands in your way is the Bengals!

My boy loves football, for about 10 minutes. After that it is time for Wiggles, Barney or something else that turns your brain to liquid.
