The trick is feed 'em candy, cookies, root beer floats, let 'em make Jello and other gooey stuff and tell them big lies and off-color knock knock jokes.

Our 2 granddaughters (ages 2 and 4) are coming to visit us in about a week and a half, we can't wait. Oh yeah, their parents are coming too.

They are beautiful:)
I keep JP every Fri. When he was old enough to start being away from mom for short periods I asked her if I could keep him on Fri's. It is so much fun. I keep him other times if his parents need me too, but Fri. is our special day, and when others arrive, I'll keep them too:)

I know how you must feel. Wish we could do that. Leila and Ashley live in Pensacola and we live in the DFW area, so we don't get to see them very often. Hope that changes in the next 1-2 years.

My six year old grandson asked me the other day if elves were real . I said no honey, they are pretend.
"What about Santa's elves?"
Oh, of course, they are real....
Then, 2 days later he asked me if fairies were real (his sister was reading a book about fairies). I said they were pretend.
"What about the tooth fairie?"
Oh, of course...... (little @#$$ set me up....)

Are you guys dressed alike today? No, but we're both wearing orthopedic shoes. (It's a very old joke.)

I might get the joke. But just in case i don't, would you please explain it?

Some of the fun of being young must be that so much is new. The ease of being older is that it's not...
