We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good morning!!
Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
CAT IV HURRICANE RITA ADVISORY PACKAGE #23

[NOTE: This information is drawn primarily from the NHC/TPC.]
RITA has completed an eyewall replacement cycle and maximum winds are at 140 MPH and an eye that is 40 miles in diameter. Recon aircraft noted a new wind maxiuma at 65 miles from center, so it is possible that RITA is beginning yet another eyewall replacement cycle.
Course guidance is solid through landfall and up to VT +72 hours. Landfall is predicted near Sabine Pass, TX. As RITA is again over the Loop Current, some strengthening could take place; however, shear is increasing from the south. If strengthening occurs as forecast, landfall should occur with 145 MPH winds.
After landfall, a major flooding event appears to be shaping up for Arkansas and NE Texas as RITA will likely stall near Texarkana at VT +72 hours.
Landfall is forecast for 5 AM CT tomorrow.

I am sorry, I just can't contain myself....it's been a long season.
How about this:
"OH, I hope the Reds Win."
???????????????
I love you too babe.
When I was a child and we had hurricanes, it was such a lark: no school, the street would flood, and people would get out their boats, and we'd look for "crawddads" in the water...
Nothing horrendous like this...
I mean....the roof would leak, and I remember one time in '57 or so , the floor in my parents bedroom buckled...
I think it was that hurricane, my mother took us over to Texas City for one last trip before the storm to the seafood market there, and we stood near Galveston Bay , and watched the water getting rougher...
My brother found another t-shirt today.
I survived Katrina and all I got was this lousy 52 inch Plasma TV
I do love it.
Yanks in first place and Jeter is still cute and single :-)
WHAT? Didn't you see my post about their move into First???
Now ABG, You and me are rivals, now!!! Direct your comments to me!
LOL! But.. don't forget the T of Stamford....:-))
Disclaimer:The confusion expressed immediately above DOES NOT put me in Blanco territory....
Thatis good. Hope nothing like that comes out of Houston/Galveston/Pt. Arthur, however...
AND he scored the lead off HR...
Wednesday
the instructions they sent home with me say DO NOT alter the pressure on the restraint
Best you follow the instructions then.
