FOX News (vanity)

Posted on 09/22/2005 4:02:53 PM PDT by Meadow Muffin

Just turned on FOX News and see that Sheppard Smith is down in South Texas. How long before Jerry Rivers shows up with the "hurricane look" that seems to be in now with the news readers.

I think I might just turn into the weather channel to get the unbiased less shrill news.

Who better to be in Texas than Shep?
He did such a great job in the wake of Katrina, I think he is going to lead the charge again...

Hopefully it won't be as horrific as Katrina, though.

Thanks for your post.

I am mad at FOX today for another reason: are they so hard up for $$$$$$$ that they have to run the Cindy Sheehan Clones ad over and over again? Right now I'd like to bust Rupert Murdoch's lip.

That ad is a canard, and IMHO, all the "grieving" widows, mom, etc. are actors.

I want to know what company makes Rivera's toupees, and what kind of super glue holds them on in such high winds.

I want to know what company makes Rivera's toupees,

I just want to point out that his "Hurricane" toupee which is long, wavy and windswept is not to be confused with his "Fox News" toupee which is neatly combed and shorter, nor with his "war zone" toupee, which is dirty and matted from wearing headgear, or with his "Broken Nose Fight" toupee, which is bloody and mussed.

Important distinctions here.

ROFL! You are too funny. I can just picture his dressing room with all those white wig stands in a row, brandishing his different "do's".

Yeah all those wigs on the dresser, and all those costumes on the rack to choose from: the "sweat-stained T-Shirt" for days when he has to lift old ladies into helicopters; The "waders" for days when the water is rising in the 9th ward; The "hooded wind breaker" for standing atop the broken levee...
