I picked up on the rush to the grocery stores in the Houston area yesterday afternoon when I checked this site.
It's unreal. Especially hearing that some gas stations are closed already.
How close or far away from Galveston are you?
I topped off my gas tank yesterday afternoon - gas was $2.64 then.
Before Rita was a threat, we were planning on traveling to Burnet County this Friday - now I dont know.
Nope, thank goodness. Freepmail coming your way in a minute.
freepmail coming your way
Back to you.
:)
Ok this may be a double post, I hit post, but nothing happened.
We are 45 miles straight north of Freeport. We are in Fort Bend County, right off Hwy 6.
The Able Danger hearing can be listened to online right now - C-Span 3.
Weldon has confirmed what we thought all along. The Able Danger information found information through Open Sources, so it is difficult for the Pentagon or anyone to claim that this hearing endangers national security.
LOL!
Knew you'd like that.
Yes, I followed Dog, W, and your comments yesterday......After Dog's initial post re: "big beers," I'm the one who first mentioned that the tart would probably experience sore knees later in life.
Thanks for the belly laughs. We need those these days!
I think the really good software that preforms that task is very expensive. It's been around for a while and called assistive technology. It was originally developed for the handicapped. Now, not being able to tyoe on FR is a handicap in my book!
Toby,
So sorry you're having a "down" day. Please remember how many of us here love you and are praying daily for you & yours.
(((Toby)))
Over my dead body!!!!
There's plenty of homegrown displaced folks without making a "special" illegal Katrina group.
Superb opening, thank you!
I'm dragging my sick body out to get a hair cut. You/ve upset my stomach enough for one day! ;^)
PawPaw, thanks again for the offer. But they are telling all in Fort Bend to stay put. So I guess we will do that.
We are 45 miles north of Freeport. They say we are on the strong side of the hurricane and will get the strongest winds.
Please pray for NO tornadoes to hit near us. Don't know how strong our roof is!
We have our camp stove, plenty of fuel, camping lanterns with plenty of fuel. Plenty of water (I hope) and plenty of food.
NeeNee and her family are headed for Dallas. Please say a prayer for their safety too.
Great articles, Molly, and thank you!
The People's Liberation Army Air Force has converted a Boeing 737-100, tail number B-4052, from a civilian air liner to a military command aircraft capable of directing forces from the air.
This, and nine other 737-100s, were allowed to be sold to China in 2000 by the UOx42 Administration. The purchaser was China United Airlines, who were to operate these craft as VIP and military troop transports.
As early as 1994, however, the UOx42 Administration KNEW that China United Airlines was a business wholly owned and operated by the PLA Air Force.

So why buy the rope when your enemy will gladly provide the noose with which to hang himself?
Tagline change
OMG These revelations just keep coming. Dare I hope that x42 and his fabled legacy will be pilloried in our lifetime and recorded in the history books?
