Quoting Captain Peter Blood: "Any man who shall molest a woman against her will" (notice those three last words, hehehe) "shall suffer the same fate" (being marooned on a deserted isle).

Captain Blood

Oh my stars and bars! Errol Flynn made that film 70 years ago and he can still make the heart of a lady flutter!

Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise have nuthin' on Flynn. No comparison! Flynn is sooooo gorgeous in Captain Blood, it's friggin' unbelievable. He's absolutely beautiful in profile. Everything is perfect about the boy...even his teeth!

There's a few nice butt shots in that film, too, tee hee!

Stocks weaken as oil jumps $3 a barrel

Arrr, new York (Reuters) - U.s. stocks fell on Monday as crude oil prices jumped more than $3 a barrel, raisin' concerns about consumer spendin' and corporate profits, while in'estors braced for another intarst-rate hike by the Federal Reser'e.

EBay Inc. fell 1.4 percent t' $36.60 after Bear Stearns cut its ratin' on the Web auctioneer t' "peer perform" from "outperform."

But Nike Inc. climbed 6.4 percent t' $83.48 after the world's largest athletic shoe maker reported better-than-expected earnin's.

The Dow Jones industrial a'erage <.DJI> was down 88 points, or 0.82 percent, at 10,554.53. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index <.SPX> was down 7.47 points, or 0.60 percent, at 1,230.44. The technology-laced Nasdaq Composite Index <.IXIC> was down 15.94 points, or 0.74 percent, at 2,144.41.

Economists polled by Reuters expect the Federal Open Market Rapscallions t' raise its benchmark fed funds rate t' 3.75 percent when meets Tuesday.

Stock in'estors generally take a dim 'iew o' higher intarst rates since they increase the cost o' borrowin' for consumers and corporations.

"E'eryone's waitin' for the Fed, but the fact that the latest hurricane comin' through spiked the oil prices took the rest o' the market down with it," said Robert Drust, managin' director o' Wedbush Morgan, a listed tradin' regional in'estment bank. "If this is goin' t' be another bad hurricane, it will definitely take some air out o' the market."

U.S. crude oil futures surged more than $3 a barrel as another tropical storm headed toward Florida, and possibly the Gulf o' Mexico, whar oil operations be still strugglin' t' reco'er after Hurricane Katrina hit late last month. Crude was up $3.60 at $66.60 on the New York Mercantile Exchange.

Shares o' Blockbuster Inc. fell 5.5 percent t' $4.50 after the company's chief executi'e officer told the Wall Street Journal that the entire 'ideo rental industry "is in the tank."

Spinnaker Exploration Co. jumped 32.2 percent t' $64.44 after Norwegian fine booty and aluminum scalwags Norsk Hydro agreed t' buy the U.s. oil exploration company for $2.45 billion in cash.

Hewlett-Packard Co. was up 1.2 percent at $28.69, makin' one o' the Dow's top mo'ers, after it agreed t' buy Pargrine Systems Inc. for $425 million in cash t' build its portfolio o' computer systems management software.
Gar, Where can I find a bottle o'rum?

Re: Captain Blood I loved that movie - it's hard to find.

Check your interlibrary loan system, some library in your area may have a copy. There's also a B&W version on DVD that I've seen offered on ebay.
