Congratulations on the wedding anniversary. I know I think that marriage is all gazing into each other's eyes deeply. I can tell you love your husband, but your accounts make me die with laughter.

Have finally heard from my brother. They came out in pretty good shape from Ophelia though had some leaks in the house which sound like they could be a problem. Lost a few small trees and had the rest of them stripped of all leaves. He said they measured 11 inches of rain in the back yard and that didn't count all the stuff that was blowing horizontally so didn't make it into the rain gauge. Half his neighborhood lost power ... the other half ... he never lost it at his house. Some of his neighbors lost some large trees so he feels that they fared quite well.

They have weathered much stronger storms at their house so I felt that all was ok but it was good to hear from him.
