Not a good sign.
We have 3 dogs...4 cats...and other critters inside the house.
Our black cat (the naughty, but ever so cute one) will hiss at Sarah whenever she has been with the other 2 cats we have in another section of the basement. She made an outdoor pen for them and will carry them out each day. When she comes back inside that little bugger wants to bite her head off for about 30 minutes.
So, maybe that little pup smelled Sadie on you. I'm not saying that you didn't make a wise decision....just the opposite.

On the first day, God created the cat.
On the second day, God created man to serve the cat.
On the third day, God created all the animals of the earth to serve as potential food for the cat.
On the fourth day, God created honest toil so that man could labor for the good of the cat.
On the fifth day, God created the sparkle ball so that the cat might or might not play with it.
On the sixth day, God created veterinary science to keep the cat healthy and the man broke.
On the seventh day, God tried to rest, but He had to scoop the litter box.
