Maybe you got the orignal Zork. You'll just have to use your imagination --- just like a book.
But, anyway, why did you post this crap here?

Talk for them. Make up funny little conversations between the characters and laugh all night at your homemade soundtrack. Then go into the garage and get into your car and connect your exhaust pipe to a hose and run the hose through a crack in the driver's side window and wait a while.

By the way, you have an AUDIO problem if you can't hear the characters talk.
Now, back to actively ignoring this off topic thread.

You have to boot up in true DOS which will require booting from a disk with XP. Once booted, type in FDISK and then type Y or Yes to everything.

You know this is a conservative political forum, right?
Anyway I've ran into similar problems when I tried to run one of my favorite oldies - XCOM UFO defense. I eventually stumbled upon an abandonware site that provided a free download of the game that worked (mostly) in XP. The sound plays a bit fast but it is a playable version for XP. You might want to do a google search on "abandonware" or "freeware" and you might find a similar solution. It will probably take a lot of digging to find that gem your looking for. Good luck!

COMMIE bots seldom talk, they pay cash for others to do the talking for them.
