Gosh ~ am I the only person on the planet who did not realize that Lousianna's Lt. Governor is Louisiana Senator Mary Landrieu's brother?

Interesting transcript. Not a single tough question in the bunch.
And he had the nerve to decry finger-pointing -- after he ripped the slowness of the response. Typical CYA.

Gee, can anyone think of a more important use of taxpayers money???
http://www.wwltv.com/local/politics/stories/081405ccjrwwlpollandrieuoffice.7394d086.html ROUGE Improvements to Lt. Gov. Mitch Landrieu's office in the Capitol Annex and creation of his apartment and office at the Pentagon Barracks have cost taxpayers $955,000 since he was elected in 2003.
His staff says the spending is a critical part of efforts to improve the state's image. Others point out that the state already had a $263 million backlog on its list of critical repairs to other buildings and property.

He looks just like Mary. . .if she had a beard and did not color her hair, of course.
An amazing oversight not to draw the picture of the family politics here. . .
Did Ray know? Inquiring minds need to find out ;^) (At the least, let PBS know, ,that we recognize an 'oversight' when we see one.)
