The Sox got rid of Rodger the Rocket because he was too old, he won over 20 games the next season! Roger was fat and wasn't trying. He decided to get in shape when the Sox cut him loose though -- finally had motivation.

Well, he can't play right field and he can't hit. Where did we 'find' this guy?

I think the Yankees will lose 2 out of 3 to the Red Sox. The Yankees are old. Not Don Zimmer old but close. The Sox'll take 'em by the head and throw 'em to the dirt!!!

How Much Giambi Has Bulked Up Lately
The return of Jason Giambi has been more dramatic and much less predictable than the resurrection of Jason Voorhees. The Giambino's .435 on-base percentage leads the league. His July 14 home runs and 1.498 OPS was one of the greatest in Yankees history. - 8.30, Kevin Hench, FOXSports.com

This series has been going like this all year. Yanqui win Game one by a few runs. Game two, the Sox annihilate the Yangui by like 16 to 0. Game three is a toss up.

They can't test for HGH and other PEDs that require a blood test. No blood test for MLB. Their policy is a total joke.

Well, I hope the Yankess win tonight 'cause it's on TV (even if it is only NESN, I can still watch it with the sound turned down). Tomorrow's game of the week is Braves vs Nats and Sunday is NFL opening weekend, Bears vs Skins so tonight will be the only game I get to see in this series. Go Yankees!

I wasn't following it that close to know the details, but I was sure happy when the Sox beat the Yankees.

a 225lb catcher trying to score from 1st on a double to left?????

To: misterrob
Think maybe it was an excuse for Varitek to clobber the Yankees catcher? We all know he loves that!

I hear you. Tek does run pretty well for a catcher, but he was a dead duck when he rounded third.
