I can't wait to see the movie. Baldwin's character just has you rolling on the floor sometimes, but I want to find out who Ron Harris's character, Shepherd Books, really is. Throughout the entire series there are numerous hints about him that suggest that he had a life before he entered the priesthood, but I'll have to wait until the movie comes out at the end of the month to find out.

I mainly like the 'unapologetic criminal' part of her character.

I love that kind character. The 'lovable rogue'. Especially when they're funny.

And I thought she was very funny, especially her dynamic with Daniel, and the way they were stuck with each other. I got a lot of laughs out of it.

Spoiler -

Having seen "Serenity" I can tell you that it's unlikely that Shepherd Book's character will ever be explained to anyone's satisfaction.

Its like watching a football game with a fellow "fan" who 2min into the game, and a punt is already saying "thats it... we lost, they stink so bad... I hate (insert player here)"

I'm a Cowboys fan . . . too many of our games *are* over that soon!

I thought she was hot. And very funny. I really enjoy the 'lovable rogue' type of character in shows. A thief who is not ashamed of being a thief.

Much like 'Mal' in Firefly. I really dig that show too. For many of the same reasons.

Sorry all,

I did not mean to hit "post", until I finished editing the 4400 line to reference the episode "Life Interrupted".

I saw it. That's the first episode I have watched. It seemed pretty good but since I can't put what I saw in perspective regarding the story line I can't really say much more than that. I an going to have to wait till they run a Firefly marathon and start from the beginning.

When will the "unseen" episodes of Firefly get shown?

Which are the 'unseen' episodes? We have the DVD set, and I thought they were all the shows that had been made.

"If it was just me...but what about T'ealc? Does this look like the face of a crazy man?"

Battlestar Galactica has me increasingly convinced that the Colonials originally came from Earth itself.

BTW B5 was the best sci-fi ever!

I'll second that.

Followed by Deep Space Nine. If you listen to Sisko sometimes, it's almost like hearing President Bush.

That's what I liked about her too. She really pissed Daniel off, and really bumped up the comedy aspect of the show with her constant criminal activity. I hope she comes back.

Battlestar Galactica has me increasingly convinced that the Colonials originally came from Earth itself.

Finally, I hear someone else saying it. And then in the last new episode (Home Part II) we find an elaborate map on Kobol showing how to find Earth. We didn't seem similar elaborate maps for Caprica, et al. In fact, we saw the Earth perspective on the universe, complete with constellations that correspond to all of the Colonial worlds. Do you reckon there's an Earth constellation of on Aerilon? I think not.

And, consider, how would be people on Kobol know what the stars look like from Earth? No evidence of those who left Kobol coming back, eh?

Have loved Adam Baldwin since The Bodyguard.

I'm hoping that the popularity of Firefly on Sci Fi will result in the series being resurrected for new episodes.

It shouldn't be too hard as the cast was kept together for the movie.

Agree with you there. Vala would get on my nerves as a regular character, but she might be fun as a recurring one.

DS9 took way to long to get going, by the time it did I had lost interest. If I had to pick a second were talking either SG1, FarScape, or G vs E..
