Zia is just fine. She is aloof, sneaky, and thinks she's the lord of the manor. I love her dearly.

Zia does have a buddy now. Meet Deimos:

Deimos is male, about 4 months old, and the world's biggest cuddlebug. Every time I lay down he presses up against me and resumes his goal of licking my face off. The collar is because, to paraphrase Dave Barry, I just had the volume knob permanently turned down on his stereo of love, and he's been pulling the stitches.
