Why, of COUSRSE the New York Times will agree that Democrats share NO PART of the blame. That's obvious.

But the questions remain:

1. why no police at the Superdome.
2. why no food and water at the superdome.

This, 3 days AFTER the disaster. Yes, these questions are not "tin foil" questions and NEED to be ANSWERED. Now, our -- admittedly "out there" -- theory DOES demand answers of some "not out there" questions.

It's quite likely she is an empty suit completely under the control of the Louisiana mob (Democrat lawyers) who bought and paid for her election. She is ready, willing, and able patsy for the real Louisiana power elite.

It's only absurd in hindsight. At the time she was stalling, her plan appeared to be succeeding...NO dodged a bullet. Remember the levees did not fail until Tuesday.

Until then, the intentional plan to deny federal assistance was likely orchestrated by Dem national leadership with the full intent of embarrassing Bush.

We see now how weak and ineffectual Blanco is. She must have sought advice from Dem national leaders on what to do. We need to see her phone records...that is, they need to be subpoenaed.

The funny thing about the democratic party...and the Mayor of No and the Gov of same...is that they cannot accept responsibility.

The question is...can you? I am wrong most of the time...how is it that you are so perfect. Are you from DU...or are you a Muslim? Or are you just a defensive newbie?

Honesty is a quality admired by all...will you be honest or will you continue to whine (like the Mayor and the Guv)?

They could SEE with their own eyes the misery in the Superdome. The repoters were telling them (espeically on Wednesday BEFORE Blanco declared an "emergency") that PEOPLE WERE DYING inside the Superdome. There were reports that a man had raped a 7 year old girl and had been subsequently beaten to death in an act of vigilante justice. There reports of multiple rapes, beatings, robbings, and worse. And through this, the Governor (and maybe the Mayor) didn't feel the need to send even a FEW police over to the Superdome? I mean, I saw "car 54, where are you?", but this is ridiculous!

By that time there were tens of thousands of people crammed into the Superdome.............as I documented, a place they were never supposed to be at since New Orleans was supposaed to be COMPLETELY evacuated...........and the savage beast had grown far too large to be tamed by local Police.

Eighty New Orleans policemen, at one point, tried to enter the Superdome and restore order and they were driven out by a lawless mob.

The Governor, in the meantime, had refused to allow a Federal takeover:

Behind the scenes, a power struggle emerged, as federal officials tried to wrest authority from Louisiana Gov. Kathleen Babineaux Blanco (D). Shortly before midnight Friday, the Bush administration sent her a proposed legal memorandum asking her to request a federal takeover of the evacuation of New Orleans, a source within the state’s emergency operations center said Saturday............... The administration sought unified control over all local police and state National Guard units reporting to the governor. Louisiana officials rejected the request after talks throughout the night, concerned that such a move would be comparable to a federal declaration of martial law. Some officials in the state suspected a political motive behind the request. “Quite frankly, if they’d been able to pull off taking it away from the locals, they then could have blamed everything on the locals,” said the source, who does not have the authority to speak publicly.

Thoughtt you might like to see this. Certainly this applies to Nagin and Blanco and their gailure to evacuate which caused many deaths.

Criminal negligence

(1) Every one is criminally negligent who

(a) in doing anything, or

(b) in omitting to do anything that it is his duty to do,

shows wanton or reckless disregard for the lives or safety of other persons.

Definition of "duty"

(2) For the purposes of this section, "duty" means a duty imposed by law.

Well, when you tell me what I should be "accepting responsibility for" then I will consider it? Now why are YOU being all defensive about an -- admittedly "out there"
-- theory? Are you so intellectually limited that you can't "think outside of the box" for just a minute?

Now why don't you tell ME when you are ready to "accept responsibility" for your defensiveness and "huffy" attitude.

:-P....

I think you need to spend some time asking yourselves why it is that you have such a strong sense of hate. Something is wrong in your lives, seriously wrong.

Yes, it is CLEAR the vast majority of the posters agree with me that Blanco and Nagin are:

a. Surely grossly incompetent and negligent.
b. Possibly criminally liable.

Their "motivations" for "b." are still up for discussion, but it is clear that these two HUMPTY-DUMPTIES cannot be put back together again ! :-p ...

Uh, no. The people who "hate" are the rabid left who call our soliders "Nazis", who compare our enemies to "freedom fighters", who call Guantanimo a "gulag". Now THOSE pepole are FULL OF HATE.

We -- rational and intelligent people -- are simply considering an -- admittedly "out there" -- theory.

Now get along little DU troll/lurker.

OK...can we bury the hatchet. I do not mean to be huffy and you seem not to mean to be too "out there."

Actually, I am willing to consider any theory. But I like to speak my mind about it (and would prefer not to be insulted just for being "moi"). Doesn't mean I am correct, but this site is a matter of theories more than facts (just like life).

Anyway, didn't mean to insult...but sometimes the urge to speak the truth (as I know it only) is overpowering.

Of COURSE we can. I apologize if I offended you in any way. Look, I fully admitted that the theory is "out there". The difference between us and the crazy DUers are that they really BELIEVE their far out ramblings.

Just trying to spark some discussion that's all. No one is going to "die" because of it.

Interesting. You, someone has has been here for 5 days, calls someone who has been here for 5 years a DU troll and lurker.

And interesting that YOU use typical DU-STYLE "progressive" language like "full of hate" on a CONSERVATIVE blog.

That is a typical liberal tactic: Accuse those with whom you disagree of being "full of hate". As in "George Bush Hates Black People". As in "Republicans Hate Poor People."

Sorry. That tactic won't work here. Here, we discuss IDEAS (even if they are "out there").

If you call people NAMES, then you deserve what you get. Since you are so "experienced" on Freerepub, then you should "know" that. Ad Hominem attacks are the sad, tired tactic of the LEFT, and they will not be tolerated here.

You must have me confused with someone else. I didn't call anyone names and didn't say anything about hating anyone. I just made a simple observation about your comment to B4Ranch.

Great. Then we agree that no one here is "full of hate."

Thank you.

Oh but I thought you "handn't called anyone names?" tsk. tsk. Now you are going back on your word. Not like a good CONSERVATIVE if you ask me. That is, if you ARE a conservative. I rather suspect you are a DU lurker seeking to infect our blog with typical liberal "hate speech censorship".

yes, a typical tactic of the left: Claim "hate speech" as a way of censorship. So sad. So, so sad. And transparent at that.

I believe that the buses were intentionally not deployed for economic reasons. The mayor and governor had a duty to the people to deploy those buses, a duty spelled out in the emergency evacuation plan. The public has a right to expect the authorities to provide these buses. The mayor and others gambled to save the buses and many people died for their intentional negligence. Criminal all the way.
