Oh I didn't have a good answer for ya so I just bumped yer thread Bob......:o)
I use a cingular WAN plan that lets me use my laptop on the road. When I'm home it's just a dial up and my Cable connection to the desktop. I'll monitor this thread to see yer results !
FSE has some good puter sense if my memory serves me correct.....him or his Dad I believe......heeeeelp FSE if ya have time !

I've gotten to be a bit of a whiz setting up wireless networks........but FSE is far better at any other server-based networking schemes.
